ITCC, in collaboration with GBT-BÜCOLIT GmbH and leading international partners, successfully delivered a series of complex, time-critical rehabilitation and upgrade projects at the Arab Potash Company, executed within tightly controlled shutdown windows.
The program covered end-to-end engineering, manufacturing, logistics, site execution, and commissioning, including the full replacement of large-scale crystallization units and rapid emergency repairs following a fire incident—completed without impact to operational continuity.
Project Highlights:
▪️ Replacement of two large-scale crystallizers and rapid on-site repair of a third following a fire incident
▪️ Engineering, manufacture, and installation of heavy-duty crystallization units (≈150 tons each)
▪️ Execution of critical works within tightly controlled shutdown windows, including a 9-day turnaround
▪️ Design and installation of FRP hot thickener tank roof panels
▪️ Supply of high-performance Alloy 400 & 625 piping systems and SS316L centrifuge casings
▪️ International logistics, site erection, and commissioning with zero production loss beyond planned outages
Delivered by integrated cross-border teams from ITCC and GBT-BÜCOLIT GmbH, together with partners including ALTRAD-Cape, HAW Linings, VDM Metals, and BUTTING, the project demonstrates the partners’ capability to deliver high-risk, time-critical industrial upgrades without compromising safety, quality, or performance.
